iMAPS New England Chapter

The International Microelectronics And Packaging Society (IMAPS) is the largest society
dedicated to the advancement and growth of microelectronics and electronics packaging
technologies through professional education.

The New England Chapter of IMAPS is the largest chapter in the entire IMAPS society. Our
current membership is approximately 600 individual plus 60 corporate members and growing. Our
current Chapter President is Dr. Wei Han, and we are fortunate and proud to have the largest
active chapter committee in the society working to provide outstanding program and service to
our membership.

IMAPS NE Chapter hosts a variety of technical events including The Annual New England
Symposium & Exhibition, and Chapter Technical Meetings. The annual Symposium & Expo is
widely regarded as the largest and most prestigious regional microelectronics symposium held
anywhere. The Chapter Technical Meetings feature preeminent presentations of the ongoing work
in the industry worldwide, and enable members to discuss emerging technologies, career issues
and market developments.

IMAPS NE Chapter also supports education through our Student Chapter and Educational
Program and grants provided to individual students in New England area.
